Astrology of Flight 1549

Here's a chart drawn for US Airways Flight 1549 at the moment of take off
from La Guardia Airport in Manhattan:

The malefics (Saturn, Mars, Uranus) in the 4th, 7th and 10th houses, along with the Moon in the 4th - indicate rapidly developing, unexpected, serious harm.

A stellium of planets from the Sun just entering the 8th house (death/mystery), with the benefic Jupiter, Mercury of travelers, the north node of destiny, Chiron (the healing bridge), Neptune (transcendence), part of fortune, and the benefic Venus - through the 9th house of travel - provided protection and 'divine intervention'.

News accounts establish a date of birth for
Capt Chesley B Sullenberger 
(see page 2 with actual birth time and new chart!)

Not certain this is the correct birthdate for Capt Sullenberger, but news accounts state he is currently 57 years old, and his birthday is Friday, January 23rd. This would give him a birthdate of Jan 23rd, 1951.

Not knowing the time or place of birth, calculated a birthchart for noon (solar chart) - right in the middle of the country - Chicago, Il. The chart thus obtained would be at least correct in the placement of the slower moving planets - and yields some astonishing results, and especially when combined with the chart of the ill-fated Flight 1549:

The inner circle of planets represent the placement of planets in Sullenberger's natal chart. The outer circle of planets represents the chart of Flight 1549.

It is difficult to see this chart due to the size constraints ( and due to the fact I had to draw in the Chiron symbol - 'K' at 19*degrees Aquarius in the Flight 1549 chart - sorry ;-> )

What is astonishing, and what I attempted to highlight in these charts, is the natal planets in Sullenberger's chart at 19*degrees of the signs - the patterns they make, and the contacts between the two charts with transiting Uranus at 19*degrees Pisces exactly conjunct the Moon's Nodes (destiny -what we are here to do) at 19*degrees Pisces/Virgo in Sullenberger's natal chart!

An Uranus conjunction indicates a radical disconnect - 'a bolt from the blue'. In these combined charts this Uranus transit not only strikes at the exact points of the Moon's nodes in Sullenberger's chart - but is also sets off two Yods (or 'fingers of fate') aspects with the natal chart - Pluto at 19*degrees Leo, and Neptune at 19*degrees Libra (150* exact degree aspects!) Pluto and Neptune are 'outer planets' which are involved in very 'deep matters'. Mysterious and reassuring.

Another planet in the natal chart - Venus at 19*degrees Aquarius - was transited by the mysterious planetoid Chiron at exactly 19*degrees - at the time this was unfolding! Chiron represent a 'bridge' to our higher natures and better selves. It was discovered in 1977, and may be here to help usher in a new age.

Chiron is said to represent the 'wounded healer', and this chart gives me chills. Good ones.

This miraculous event, unfolding in Manhattan, at this time - I believe, is a sure sign from the depths of the universe of a beginning of healing for this nation and augurs the changes to come with this new administration in Washington, DC.
